What to report
You may write to us for any of the following reasons:
- Metadata corrections — If you notice an incorrect title, author name, or category placement (for example, a book listed under Exploring Fantasy Realms & Folklore that belongs in Young Readers), please let us know.
- File or reading issues — If an ebook fails to open, displays garbled text, or causes your device or browser to crash, we want to hear about it. Include the format you are using (EPUB, PDF, Kindle, etc.) and the device or browser version.
- Accessibility problems — We strive to make our catalogue usable for everyone. If you encounter difficulties with screen readers, text reflow, or colour contrast, please describe the issue.
- Privacy questions — If you have concerns about how your data is handled while using the site, we are happy to clarify our practices.
- Copyright or rights concerns — Although we curate public-domain works, we respect intellectual property. If you believe a title is not in the public domain in your jurisdiction, or if you are a rights holder with a legitimate claim, please provide relevant details.
- General editorial observations — We appreciate thoughtful notes about our reading companions, edition insights, or contextual essays. Constructive feedback helps us improve.
How to structure your report
To help us investigate efficiently, please include as much of the following as possible:
- The exact URL (web address) of the page in question.
- The full title of the ebook (e.g., The Rover Boys on the Farm; or, Last Days at Putnam Hall — Text and Context).
- The file format you are using (EPUB, PDF, MOBI, etc.).
- Your device model and browser name (e.g., iPadOS Safari, Windows Chrome).
- A clear description of the observed problem — what you expected and what happened instead.
- If your message concerns copyright, please include any supporting information, such as the publication date of the edition you believe is still protected, or your relationship to the work.
What we do with your message
Each report is reviewed by the catalogue. Where appropriate, we will correct metadata, replace a faulty file, or update a reading guide. For accessibility or privacy matters, we may adjust the site’s functionality. If you have raised a rights concern, we will investigate and respond with our findings.
